On 1 July, a visiting team player in Lawn Bowls Reunification Cup match held at the Club advised the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association that she had been infected. The HKLBA was late in notifying us of this case and her whereabouts on that day. In order to safeguard yourselves and others around you, whether you were at the Club or not on that day, please carry out a RAT test at your earliest convenience. Importantly is to ensure you are safe before your next entry to the Club. All areas of the Club was cleaned and disinfected once notification was received. We are looking at further ways to prevent imported cases especially from non- members and this will be discussed at the next General Committee meeting to be held this month. We apologise for any inconvenience but please rest assured that we will do everything within our power to protect the welfare of our members.

The following are the latest directions: –
Face Masks: All persons must wear a Face Mask at all times when in the card rooms. Persons found not wearing masks while in the card rooms may be asked to leave the premises.
No F & B : No food and drinks will be allowed to be eaten or drunk in the card rooms with the exception of Water & Chinese Tea which will be placed in the rooms in flasks.
Outside Food and Drinks are strictly forbidden to be brought in and consumed and drunk in the card rooms.
No Waiter Service: There will not be any waiter service in the Card Rooms. Members wishing to replenish the Water or Chinese Tea may go to the Bar or Dining Room to refill the flasks.
Registration: All members and guests MUST scan the ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ QR code using the ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ mobile application on their mobile phones AND ALSO register and fill in their details in the respective Club de Recreio registration book for members and for guests.
